The company reported net income rose to MXN 3.26 billion ($308 million; €197 million) in the first quarter of 2008, from MXN 2.94 billion ($278 million; €177 million) in the year-ago period. Net sales totaled MXN 57 billion ($5.4 billion; €3.4 billion) in the first quarter.
